I came to fluid art in a very circuitous way. In 2019 I began taking art lessons from an Australian artist whom I met in an online writing class. She mentioned fluid art in one of our sessions and sent me a link with the warning that it could be a rabbit hole. I have been happily tumbling down this rabbit hole ever since.
Learning from other Fluid artists, I have experimented with techniques and formulas to develop my own personal style. The process is very enjoyable and meditative.
My husband and I live in a small town in South Carolina with our Schnauzer, Izzy.
During the pandemic we found we had time to pursue our hobbies. (He makes beautiful boards. RobbieBoone.com) We also discovered that we still like each other after forty-three years of marriage.
In the past I have been a student, teacher, homeschooler, writer and photographer. Not always in that order. I am also a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. As a lifelong learner, I look forward to where this venture will take me.
Creativity is a gift from our Creator and I seek to use that gift in all aspects of my life.
